7 (a) 2 REGARDING SPECIAL PERMITS FOR RESIDENTIAL UNIT AND
CONIM�NITY UNIT PLANS .
It was moved by Councilman Pearson, seconded by Councilman
Thiel, that the following two items b� referred to the
Planning Commission for review and recommendation prior
to any action:
1, Provide multi-family units in areas that have
the amenities which are necessary for long
term tenaney. Th�se amenities would include
open space for rLereation, n�arness of shopping
areas readily acc�ssible arterial streets and
mass transit line�, sehools, and id�ntification
with a neigh:��rhood or apartment community.
2. Provide a wide var�.ety of choice in -the size of
unit, 000d d�si�z, and amenities offered in
multiple housin� 1�velo�ments.

of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code",! Motion passed
by a vote of six yeas. Couneilman Howard out of room
