A regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor

an motion of Councilman Ehrenberg, 6econded by Councilman Hel.tzer,
the minutes of the regular meeting held December 14, 1964 were approved
by a six yea vote. Councilman Thiel was not preeent.
On motion of Councilman Howard, seconded by Councilman Heltzer,
the minu�es of tbe special meeting held December 21, 2964 were
approved 6y a six yea vote. Councilman Thiel wae not present.

Upon hearing no objection the minutes of the Parks and Recreation
Advisory Commission were ordered by Mayor Wolfe to be received

ON BOTH SIDES OF TEXAS AVENUE SOUTH OF MINNETONKA
BOULEVARD A DISTANCE OF �00 FEET (REQUESTED BY
COUNCIL NOVEMBER 23, 1964 - CASE NO. 64-64-MISC. ).
It was moved by Councilman Heltzer, seconded by Councilman
Reynolds, to set date for public hearing on January 18, 1965,
with rezoning as recommended by Planning Commission. Motion
passed by a seven yea vote.

January 4, 1965.
Elizabeth J. Caldwell, Secretary to the City Council, Range PA 1,
Step D, effective January 4, 1965.

WEST OF �2UENTIN AVENUE (DEFERRED FROM DECEMBER 14,
1964).

It was moved by Councilman Heltzer, seconded by Councilman
Thiel, to waive reading and adopt Resolution No. 2737 entitled
"Resolution Receiving Reports and Calling Hearing on Improve-
ment No. b5-18 Off-Street Automobile Parking Facilities. "
Motion passed by a seven yea vote. Staff was requested to
provide a preliminary report for a parking lot in the area eaat
from Project No. 65-•18 to Wovddale r�venue.

Councilman Thiel, to refer the claim to the Law Department
for advice and recommendation, Motion passed by a seven yea
vote.

A motion was made by Councilman Reynolds, seconded by
Councilman Heltzer, that no Council meeting be held January
4, 1965. Motion passed by a seven yea vote.
12. CLAIMS, APPROPRIATIONS AND CONTRACT PAYMENTS

On motion of Coun�ilman Reynolds, seconded by Councilman
Thiel, the lists of verified claims prepared by the Dire�tor of
Finance and presented to the Council, dated December 28, 1964
