CALL TO ORDER
A reguiar meeting of the City Council wae called to order by Mayor Kenneth
W olfe at 8:20 p. m.
ROLL CALL
The following Cour���men were present at roll call:

Kenneth Wolfe
Alao preseat were the City Manager, City Attorney� Director of Finante, and

REVLSION IN PROPOSED WAGE A.DJUSTMENT FOR 1965

It wae moved by Co�acilman Howard, seconded by Councilrnan Heltzer, to
adopt the City Manager's recommendatioas concerning wage adjustmente for
1965 as followe:
1� General ealary increaee of� 3. 5%.
2. When New Year� s Day and Christmas occur oa Saturday, desigaate
the preceding Friday as a day off.
3, Provide by ordinaace tbat vacanciee be poeted ig th euch notic e.
locations where employees may best be able to ee
4� Increase the City' e participation in hospita�ization and medical
ineurance by $1.00 per moath.

Larkin McClellan answered several questions bythe Councilmen. Councilrman
Pearson called for the question. Mayor Wolfe called for a vote on the origi.nal
rnotion. Motion passed by a eeven yea vote.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID FOR PURCHASE OF
$2, 1 Z0, 000 OF GENERAL OB LIGATION RE FUNDING BONDS UF 1964 UNDER
CIT Y CHARTER.
RESOLUTION NO. 2722
It was moved by Councilman Reynolds, seconded by Councilrr�an Heltzer, to
waive reading and adopt Resolution No. 272Z entitled "Reeolutioa Authorizing
Advertisement for Bid for Purchase of $2, 120, 000 of General Obligatioa Refuad-
ing 8onda of 1964 Under City Charter. " Motion passed by a six yea vote.
Councilman Pearaon abstained.
VITESTLING CASE
It was moved by Couacilmaa Reynolds � seconded by Councilman Howard to
authorize Kenneth Green ae legal repre8eatative of the City of St. Louis Park
in the Weetling caee at the same rates as thoae involved iu the Fronk case with
an esti�nated maximum cost� of $4, 000. Motion passed by a seven y�ea vote,
A motion was rriade by Counciaman Peareon, secoaded by Councilman Thiel�
to direct the staff to contact the neighbore present at the Weetling rezoning
hearing to see if they are interested in joining with the City in the Iaw su3t.
Motion paesed by a seven yea vote.

It was moved by Councilman Peareon� eeconded by Couacilman Heltzer. that
no Council meetiag be held December ?, 1964. Motioa paesed by a seven yea
vote.
ADJOURNMENT
On motion of Couacilman Howard, seconded by Councilman Reynold8, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:24 p. m. , by a seven yea vote.
