County Commissioners Earl Ainsworth and Elwood Swanson , were present at the meeting . Howard Perkins , County Surveyor , was also present . Mayor Wolfe read a letter received from Commissioner George Mathews . RESOLUTION NO , 2197 It was moved by Councilman Pearson seconded by Council - man Heltze -r , to adopt Resodtion No . 2197 as read by Councilman Pearson , entitled ItResoluticn Relative to Hennepin County Redistricting for County Commissioner DistrictsIt Motion . passed by a vote of six yeas and one nay . Councilman Shank voting nay . It was requested that this matter beplaced on the agenda for November S . 1962 . 291 CourIcil Minutes - October 29 , 1962 10 , NEW BUSINESS ( a) TABULATION OF BIDS FOR CONCRETE FOUNDATM0,1 TRUCK SCALE , FOR 10 x 24 MOTOR It was moved by Councilman Pearson , seconded by Council - man Howard , to designate Olson Concrete Company as the lowest responsible bidder :1 to accept bid in the amount of $ 2 , 382 . 00 and to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute the necessary contract .
