CLAIMS , APPROPRIATIONS AND CONTRACT PAYMENTS ( a) VERIFIED CLAIMS On motion of Councilman Ehrenberg , seconded by Councilman Heltzer , the lists of verified claims prepared by the Director of Finance and presented to the Council , in the total amounts of $ 41, 163 . 57 for payroll , and $ 651, 502 . 38 for vendors were approved , and the City Manager , City Clerk and City Treasurer were authorized co issue checks covering same , by a roll call vote of six yeas .
