gard to Improvement No, 58..74.
It was moved by Councilman Jorvig, seconded by Councilman
Shank, that Mr. Brawerman, 2501 Inglewood Avenue, be given
credit of $100.00, which represents extra cost of replacing
curb and gutter. Motion passed by a vote of seven yeas .
Mr. Gordon Lagerstrom, 8512 Virginia Circle No., was
present in regard to frontage. He was told that his assess-
ment was for 85 feet.

Councilman Ehrenberg requested_ the. City Manager send
a copy of Resolution to the Minneapolis Park Board and that
he discuss with them the possibility of some off street
parking her` to relieve the situation.

1 SECOND READING OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE SALE BY THE CITY OF LANDS BETWEEN WOODDALE
AND HIGHWAY NO, 100,
Present in the audience was Mr. Golden of Interstate
Department Stores.
Mayor Wolfe reported on his interview with Aldersgate
Methodist Church and the following statement was filed:
Aldersgate Methodist Church is Agreeable
to the following provisions:
1. They agree to accept fee title to a 90 ft.
strip adjacent to the north church property
line, bounded by Wooddale Ave. on the west
and the Service Road on the east, and to
accept a permanent non exclusive easement
for parking purposes on an adjacent 67 ft . .
bounded by the 90 ft, strip aforesaid and
Wooddale Ave. on the west and the Service
Road on the east.
2. With the provision that the prospective pur-
chaser shall so grade their property that there
will be no drainage onto church property.
3. The church has agreed to this on the provision
that the purchaser will not operate on Sunday
morning.

$10,000 an acre,
Based on said offer - A motion was made by Councilman
Shank, seconded by Councilman Thiel, that this site be
eliminated from discussions as a site for City Hall.

for work, for Council approval, on September 11, 1961.
