CALL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Kenneth Wolfe at 8:06 p . m . 2. INVOCATION Invocation was given by Rabbi Mases Sachs of the BTnai Abraham Synagogue. 3. ROLL CALL The following Councilmen were present ca Robert Ehrenberg Torval Jorvig Curtis Pearson D. C. Messer Leonard Thiel Kenneth Wolfe at roll call: Also present were the City Manager, City Attorney, Director of Public Works, Planning Director and the Secretary. 4. MINUTES On motion of Councilman Messer, seconded by Councilman Jorvig, the minutes of the regular meeting held June 12,1961, were approved by a six yea vote. 5. PUBLIC HEARINGS (a) IMPROVEMENT NO. 60-359 STORM SEWER IN COBBLECREST AREA AS DESCRIBED IN NOTICE OF HEARING PUBLISHED JUNE 1 AND 8, 1961. Mayor Wolfe opened the hearing on this matter. Motion passed by a six yea vote. (b) REPORT OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION ( CASE NO, 61 -31 -SP) RECOMMENDING FAVORABLY UPON THE REQUEST OF PARK AUTO WASH, INC. FOR SPECIAL PERMIT FROM PROVISIONS OF SECTION 6:122.5 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF A CARWASH ON SOUTHEAST CORNER OF WEST LAIC STREET AND 1111ALKER STREET (DEFERRED FROM MAY V, 1961) .
