1. CALL TO ORDER
A regular meeting of theCity Council was called to order
by Nlayor Kenneth Wolfe at 8:02 p.m.

Westwood Lutheran Church,

be deleted and that the folks on the East Side furnish a
report on how they feel regarding improvement, by May 15,
1961. Motion passed by a vote of five ayes.

our thoughts to them, relative to S.F. 24; and that
we recommend the passing of the Bill as originally drawn.

Regarding S.F. 41 - Gasolino-Six Cents per Gallon
Excise Tax.
It was moved by Councilman Messer, seconded by
Councilman Jorvig, that the City Manager be requested
to write to our Senator and Representative advising
them that the Council was in favor of S.F. 41. Motion

Mr. C. L. Hurd, 5000 Minnetonka Boulevard, pre-

newspaper bundles he had picked up at his corner.
This matter was discussed at length.
It was moved by Councilman Pearson, seconded by
Councilman Jorvig, that the Law Department be directed
to draw up a complaint to be signed by Co L. Hurd and
further that the City Manager be requested to write
the Newspaper advising them of the Litter Ordinance
etc. Motion passed by a vote of five ayes.
