5. The following persons were present for information;

Mayor Wolfe declared the hearing closed.
A motion was made by Councilman Pearson, seconded
by Councilman Thiel, to amend Section 2:1804.01 to
delete "serving their own congregations" after "Houses
of Worship". Motion passed by a seven yea vote.
A motion was made by Councilman Pearson, seconded
by Councilman Thiel, to amend Section 2:1852.11 by
adding the words "and the City Manager" after the words
"Health Authority" in Subdivision 4 and to amend Section
2:1852.11 by adding the words "and the City Manager"
after the words "Health Authority" in the first sentence
of the first paragraph and in the second paragraph.
Motion passed by a seven yea vote.
A motion was made by Councilman Pearson, seconded
by Councilman Thiel, to amend Section 2:1816.01 by adding
to the second sentence after the word "establishment"
the following words "except Houses of Worship and schools
where the limitation shall apply only to readily perish-
able food". Motion passed by a vote of six yeas and one
nay. Councilman Ehrenberg voting nay.
A motion was made by Councilman Thiel, seconded by
Councilman Jorvig, to defer further consideration of the
proposed ordinance to a special meeting to be held at
7 p.m. on Thursday April 20, 1961 in the Council Chambers.
Motion passed by a vote of five yeas and two nays.

Ordinance No. 779, entitled "An Ordinance Amending the

"(a) Certain Dogs Not Allowed to Run at Large, (b)
Barking Dogs, (e) Restriction of Dogs Running at Large,
(d) Dogs Which are Public Nuisance"Relating to Control
of Dogs". Motion passed by a seven yea vote.

more stringent enforcement of dog control laws and need
for requirement of rabies shot as prerequisite to ob-

On motion of Councilman Jorvig, seconded by Council-
man Shank, the lists of verified claims prepared by the
Director of Finance and presented to the Council, in the
total amounts of $568.14 for payroll, and $44,106.00 for
vendors were approved, and the City Manager, City Clerk,
and City Treasurer were authorized to issue checks cover-
ing same, by a seven yea vote.
(b) CONTRACT PAYMENT

and Combustion Chambers Municipal Incinerator DPW
Project 2-61. Contractor - Ramtite Company. Contract
