Invocation was given by Rabbi Moses Saches of the Bfnai Abraham Synagogue. 3. ROLL CALL The following Councilmen were present at roll call. Robert Ehrenberg Torval Jorvig Curtis Pearson D. C. Messer Robert Shank Leonard Thiel Kenneth Wolfe Also present were the City Manager, City Attorney, Director of Public Works , Planning Director and the Secretary* 4. MINUTES On motion of Councilman Messer, seconded by Councilman Jorvig, the minutes of the regular meeting held October 23, 1961, were approved as amended adding the followinhetCoancil,tbeforeeany Hessian stated that he would appear before t building permits are requested for Lot 2, Block 1, Minneapolis Baseball and Athletic Association Addition Motion passed by a seven yea vote. 5. PUBLIC HEARINGS (a) None 6. PETITIONS REQUESTS AND COMMUNICATIONS OF BENILDE HIGH SCHOOL FOR AN D PENALTY COVERING PROPERTY OF 1960. (a) COMMUNICATION ON BEHALF ABATEMENT OF INTEREST A THE SHCOOL FOR 1959 AND 387 1 Council Minutes - November 61 1961 6 , It was moved by Councilman Ehrenberg, seconded by Councilman Thiel, that this matter be referred to the City Manager for a written report on factual background and also as to legal ramifications. Motion passed by a seven yea vote. (b) COMMUNICATION FROM ST. LNXES LUTHERAN CHURCH AT 41ST STREET AND HIGHWAY 1005 REQUESTING CONSIDERATION TO CHANGE THE PARKING ORDINANCE ON SOUTH SIDE OF 41ST STREET BETWEEN WEBSTER AVENUE AND HIGHWAY N0. 100. Ken Drentlow, 2 301 Alabama Avenue, .ias present represent. ing St. Luke's Lutheran Church. He requested that they be allowed Sunday parking on the south side of 41st Street between Wehster Avenue and Highway 100. The City Manager mad` a report. It was moved by Councilman Thiel, seconded by Council- man Jorvig, that the City Manager be directed to prepare a resolution setting up Sunday parking only on the south side of 41st Street between Webster Avenue and Highway 100.
