CALL TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the City Council was called to order
by President pro tem Torval Jorvig at 8:07 p.m.

man Messer, to waive reading and adopt Resolution No. 1942,
entitled "Resolution Amending Contract for Road Mixed Bitum-
inous Surfacing Contract Date April 10, 1961, Relative to
Improvements No. 60-09 (Part) and 60-128 (Part) Contract No.

Shank, that the City Manager be directed to prepare a report on
the feasibility of devalopement of City Storm Sewer System, with
special concern of reclaiming certain lands nova used for sumps etc,•
and the sale of land reclaimed with the idea of using monies re-
ceived from sale of reclaimed land to carry as much of cost of
storm sewer installation as possible. Motion passed by a five
yea vote.

Councilman Messer, to authorize the Mayor and City Manager

(a) Damage Claims, R. J. Watermolan, 3430 Sunset Ridge Road.
It was moved by Councilman Thiel, seconded by Council-
man Messer, that the above claim be referred to the Law
Department for advice and recommendation. Motion passed
by a five yea vote,
(b) WATER TABLE IN THE AREA OF HARVEY BERWiN HOME ON 253L2 STREET,
Mr. Berman and others asked if something could be done
to stop present filling of swamp in area.
It was moved by Councilman Pearson, seconded by Council.

and the Director of Public Works to make study and report to

CLAIMS, APPROPRIATIONS AND CONTRACT PIZYMENTS
(a) VERIFIED CLAIMS
On motion of Councilman Messer, seconded by Councilman
Thiel, the lists of vorified claims prepared by the Diractor
of Finance and presented to the Council, in the total amounts
of $611.70 for payroll, and $311,692.52 f or vendors were
approvad, and the City Manager, City Clark and City Treasurer
were authorized to issue chaeks covering same, by a roll call
vote of four y.as. Councilman Pearson abstained from voting.
