by Kenneth Wolfe at UO p.m,

Minneapolis, Minnesota.
It was moved by Councilman Messer, seconded by Council-
man Jorvig, that the above claim be referred to the Law
Department for advice and recommendation. Motion passed by
a seven yea vote.
(b) PETITION IN OPPOSITION TO C, NINE COLLEOE LOCATED IN THE
9400 BLOCK ON MINNETONKA BOULEVARD.
Mr. John G. Dahl, 2955 Independence Lvenue, presented
a petition, protesting the issuance of license and continued
commercial activity of the C-inin%� College.
The patition was signed by Mr. & Mrs. E. Blakeborough,
9441 Minnetonka Boulevard, and 32 others from the immediate
area.
Mrs. John G . Dahl and Mr. r, Blukoborough spoke in
protest also.

It was moved by Councilman Ehrenberg, seconded by
Councilman Jorvig, that the regular Council meeting of
October 30, 1961 be cancelled. Motion passed^by a vote

(e) ADDITION PICKUP OF REFUSE.
It was moved by Councilman Pearson, seconded by
Councilman Jorvig, that the City Manager be directed to
make a study regarding additional pickup for cleaning
up of refuse etc. at certain timesof the year. Motion
passed by a seven yea vote.
(f) COUNCILMAN THIEL MADE A REPORT ON THE MEETING HE ATTENDED,
AT THE REQUEST OF THE MAYOR REGARDING THE METROPOLITAN
SANITARY DISTRICT EXPANSION.

vendors were approved, and the City Manager, City Clerk,
and City Treasurer were authorized to issue checks covering
same, by a roll call vote of seven yeas.
