Meeting Adjourned
On motion of Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Middleton, the meeting
was adjourned at 1:30 A. M., March 31, 1953, to reconvene, Saturday, April 4, 1953
at 9:30 A. M., by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council present.

ADJOURNED MEETING APRIL 4. 1953
Adjourned meeting of the Village Council from March 30th to this meeting
was called to order by Mayor Hurd at 9:45 A. M.
The following Council Members were present at roll call:
Trustee Bolmgren
Trustee Jorvig
Trustee Middleton

Hearing Date Set for Storm Sewer
On motion of Trustee Jorvig, seconded by Trustee Bolmgrenf May 25th was
set as date for hearing for construction of storm sewer to serve Oxford Street
and Alabama Avenue area, by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council.
Hearing Date Set for Storm Drain
On motion of Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Middleton, May 25, 1953
was set as date for hearing for construction of storm drain` to serve Raleigh
Avenue from 28th Street to 29th Street to Joppa Avenue and,'Sunset Boulevard, by
unanimous vote of all Members of the Council.
Allover Storm Sewer Area
On motion of Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Jorvig, the Engineering
Department and Legal Department were instructed to prepare an allover storm sewer
area for the entire Village with the idea of an all-village levy for the payment
of same, by unanimous vote of all Members of the CouncF.
Dog Ordinance #413
Dog Ordinance #413 amending Ordinance #298, relating to licensing and regulat-
ing of dogs was discussed at length, and it was the opinion of the entire Council
that the ordinance stand as adopted, and be enforced.
On motion of Trustee Middleton, seconded by Trustee Jorvig, the Village
Council wend on record to reaffirm its previous position on Ordinance #413,
published March 26th, effective April lst, and enforcement agency was ordered to
commence enforcement of said ordinance on April 10, 1953, by unanimous vote of
all Members of the Council.
Request for Rezoning Denied
Letter to Mayor Hurd, dated March 25, 1953, from Alfred H. Tapper, request-
ing the rezoning of lot at 4815 Minnetonka Boulevard from Commercial Use to Light
Industrial Use, and a permit to construct a cement block building approximately
401 x 1001, was read.

Request for Rezoning Denied, Cont'd:
On motion of Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Jorvig, the request
of Alfred H. Tapper for permission to use property at 4815 Minnetonka Boulevard
(now a vacant lot) for light industrial purposes, was denied, by unanimous
vote of 'all Members of the Council.
Bus Service - 44th Street from Wooddale to Dart
With regard to letter from the Twin City Transit Company requesting
permission to use 44th Street between Wooddale and Dart Avenues for part of new
bus service now being contemplated. The Clerk was instructed to answer letter
to the effect that we would consider the matter after the bus service has been
definitely decided upon.
Letter Requesting Extension of Leave - Ted Gardner
Letter from T. T. Gardner, dated March 25th, 1953, requesting an extension
of his leave of absence from Village employment for an additional 90 days, was
read. It was moved by Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Middleton that this
matter be tabled until Village Attorney, E. T. Montgomery returns from his
vacation. Motion was passed by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council.
Meeting Adjourned
On motion of Trustee Middleton,- seconded by Trustee Bolmgren, the meeting
was adjourned at 1:00 P. M, by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council.
