Meeting Adjourned
On motion of Trustee Jorvig, seconded by Trustee Middleton, the meeting was
adjourned at 11:15 P. M., to reconvene Tuesday, November 18, 1952 at 8 o'clock
PM., by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council present.

ADJOURNED MEETING NOVEMBER 18, 1952
The adjourned meeting of November 17, 1952 was called to order by Mayor
Hurd at 8:30 P. M., with the following Council Members present at roll call:
Trustee Bolmgren
Trustee Jorvig
Trustee Middleton
Clerk Justad

Bid Award - Water Main-52-446
On motion of Trustee Middleton, seconded by Trustee Bolmgren, the bid of
Phelps-Drake Company, Inc. received November 17, 1952 for the construction of water
main in.Glenhurst Road- : from Cedar Lake-Road to North and West to Turn-around
and in Highwood Road from Glenhurst Road to Turn-around at end of Highwood Road
was determined to be the lowest bid of a responsible bidder, and the Mayor and Clerk
were authorized to execute contract for the Village with the bidder at price bid
for the mork of $11,663.00, by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council.
Bid Award - Copperhorns
On motion of Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Middleton, the bid of
Ford Meter Box Company -received November 17, 1952 for the furnishing of 500
3/4" x 3/4" copperhorns at $2.65 each'was determined to be the lowest bid of a
responsible bidder, and the Clerk was authorized to issue a purchase order for
same in the amount bid {$1325.00 total), by unanimous vote of all Members of the
Council.-
Bid Award - Corporation- Stops
On motion of Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Middleton, the bids of
A. Y. Mc- Donald Mfg. Company received November 17, 1952, for the furnishing of 500
5/8" x 3/4" cofporation stops at $1.35 each, and 50 1" x 1" corporation stops at
2.25 each was determined to be the lowest bid of a responsible bidder, and the

Clerk was authorized to issue a purchase order for same in the amount bid of
$787.50 (total), by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council present.
Bid Award - Water Meters
On motion of Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Middleton, the bid of
Badger Meter Mfg. Company received November 17, 1952, for the furnishing of 500
5/811 x 3/411 RIOT water meters was determined to be the lowest bid of a responsible
bidder, and the Clerk was authorized to issue a purchase order for same in the
amount of $9,700.00 ($19.40 each), by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council.
Plans for Addition to Fire Station Rejected
On motion of Trustee Jorvig, seconded by Trustee Bolmgren, the present plans
for an addition to the Fire Station, due to inadequacy, are hereby rejected, by
unanimous vote of all Members of the Council.
Plans for New Municipal Building
On motion of Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Jorvig, Mayor Hurd and
Clerk Justad were selected as a Committee to investigate and bring in recommendations
as to possible Architects to prepare plans for a new Municipal Building, by unani-
mous vote of all Members of the Council.
Perfect Title on Tax-Forfeited Lands
On motion of Trustee Jorvig, seconded by Trustee Bolmgren, the Village
Attorney was instructed to perfect our title on our tax-forfeited lands now being
used by the Village, by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council.
Road Fixing
On motion of Trustee Bolmgren, seconded by Trustee Middleton, the matter of
fixing up Glenhurst Avenue from 'Cedar Lake Road to France Avenue, was referred to
Trustee Jorvig for checking and recommendation, by unanimous vote of all Members
of the Council.
Meeting Adjourned
On motion of Trustee Jorvig, seconded by Trustee Bo]mgren, the meeting was
adjourned at 10:25 P. M., by unanimous vote of all Members of the Council present.
