Barney Gross spoke regarding the length of time of zoning. He also objects to making a park of -this property due to its smallness; also its closeness to the Railroad tracks, making it dangerous -for -children. Said property should be retained as industrial tax providing property; and -spend the same amount for a much larger piece. He -suggested the abutting property owners purchase the two lots to save their own property value. Mr. Ecklund said some of the people who signed the petition did not know what they were signing. Another man gave Mayor Erickson a postcard that was mailed to all petitioners, explaining the hearing and urging attendance. The following hased to have their names taken off the petition: August Collis, Jr., 7700 Division Street, Don Noel, 3727 Rhode Island Avenue, W.
