published in the St. Louis Park Dispatch March 14, 1947 and March 21, 1947,
and has heard all persons appearing at said meeting and has duly considered
said proposed improvements. Now, therefore,,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council ,of the Village of St. Louis Park
that it is hereby determined to be necessary to construct Village water main
extensions in the public streets of the Village at the locations above described;
and,
BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that plans and,specifications for construction of
said water mains which have been prepared by the Village Engineer and filed with the
Village Clerk are hereby accepted and approved as the plans and specifications for
said improvements; and the Clerk is hereby directed to advertise for bids for the
construction of said water mains to be opened and considered by the Village Coun-
cil April 28, 1947.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost of said improvements is to be assessed
against property benefited as authorized by.Chapter 425, Laws of Minnesota, 1921,
as amended, and said improvements are to be consolidated as Improvement No. M-66.

REGULAR MEETING - • APRIL 7, 1947
A meeting of the Village Council was called to order by President Erickson
at 8:15 P. M., with the following Councilmen present at roll call:

Permit for Commercial Building
- On motion of Trustee Perkins, seconded' by Trustee Jorvig, the Building
Inspector was authorized to issue permit to Dr. John T. Casey, DDS, for erect-
ion of a commercial building on Lot 6, Block. 4, Hankers Minikanda Terrace
Addition, with 20 foot setback on Excelsior Boulevard and on property line on
Joppa Avenue. Motion was passed by unanimous vote of the Council.
111 Request for Street Opening -
On motion of Trustee Perkins, seconded by Trustee Bolmgren, the request
of Douglas Rees, dated April 3, 1947, for the opening of Kipling Avenue between
35th and 36th Streets, adjoining New Huntington Woods Development, was referred
to the Planning Commission for checking and recommendation, by unanimous vote
of the Council.
Request for Rezoning
On motion of Trustee Perkins, seconded by Trustee Bolmgren, the request
of Douglas Rees, dated April 3, 1947, for rezoning of Hunsackerproperty from
Multiple Dwelling to Commercial Use was referred to-the Planning Commission for
checking and recommendation by unanimous vote of the Council.
Permit for Commercial Building
On motion of Trustee Perkins, seconded by Trustee Bolmgren, the Building

Inspector was authorized to issue a permit for erection of a commercial build-
ing on Lot 12, Block 3, Brookview Park, as per plans dated April 5, 1947, by
Ed. Ludwig, to Plehal Heating Company. Motion was passed by unanimous vote
of the Council.
Verified Claims
on Motion of Trustee Jorvig, seconded by Trustee Bolmgren, the following
verified claims were approved, and the President and Clerk were authorized to
issue warrants for same by the following roll call vote: Trustee Bolmgren, Yea;

Police report for March, 1947 was read and ordered filed.
