Approving sale of real property
Whereas, the city is the owner of certain real property located south of 2754 Xenwood
Avenue South, in the City of St. Louis Park, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, and is
legally described as follows:

(“property”)
Whereas, Christine Glazer (“buyer”) is the owner of that certain real property located at

Minnesota [PID 09-117-21-31-0186], which is adjacent to the property; and
Whereas, the city proposes to sell property to the buyer for $15,000.00, and retain a
drainage and utility easement over the property as part of the sale;
Whereas, the city’s interests would be served with a drainage and utility easement over
the property and city fee ownership is not needed; that selling the property is in the best
interests of the city; and the city is willing to sell the property pursuant to the terms and
conditions of that certain purchase agreement that is presented for city council approval; and
Whereas, Minnesota Statutes § 462.356, subd. 2, requires that the planning commission
review the city’s proposed sale of real property for compliance with the comprehensive plan
and to report to the city council in writing its findings; and

the requirement for review by the planning commission upon 2/3 vote of the city council
dispensing with the requirement and finding that the acquisition or disposal of the real
property has no relationship to the comprehensive municipal plan.
Now therefore be it resolved by the city council of the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota,
that:
1. The conveyance of the property has no relationship to the comprehensive municipal
plan and review by the planning commission of the sale of the property is hereby dispensed
with.
2. The buyer’s offer of $15,000.00 for purchase of the property from the city is
hereby accepted.
