Resolution No. 26-104
Accepting a donation from Minnesota Public Employer Labor Relations
Association (MNPELRA) for Rita Vorpahl to attend the 2026 MNPELRA
Conference
Whereas, the City of St. Louis Park is required by state statute to authorize
acceptance of any donations; and
Whereas, the city council must also ratify any restrictions placed on the donation by
the donor; and
Whereas, MNPELRA will compensate up to $300 in costs for the city's HR director,
Rita Vorpahl, to attend the 2026 MNPELRA conference,
Now therefore be it resolved by the city council of the City of St. Louis Park that the
gift is hereby accepted with gratitude to MNPELRA with the understanding that it will be
used for the conference registration for Rita Vorpahl to attend the 2026 MNPLERA
conference held August 5 through 7, 2026, in Rochester, Minnesota.
