Call to order A. Roll call B. Introduction of guests—none 2. Approval of minutes Moved by Vice Chair Myhran, seconded by Commissioner Kehrberg, to approve the March minutes. The motion passed with Commissioner Ashare abstaining. 3. Business A. Presentations None. B. New business i. Natural resources presentation and training at Ainsworth Park, northeast corner Mr. Bahe and Ms. Larson presented a brief history of the Ainsworth Park “food forest” concept. The fruit trees were planted in 2023. They need regular care and maintenance in order to thrive. Staff’s vision is to plant additional trees, add signage explaining the purpose of the trees, and one day have a wood chip path winding through the forest. There is also consideration of naming the food forest, which requires a council process. Commission members broke into groups to learn proper fruit tree pruning and to distribute mulch around existing trees. C. Unfinished business None. 4.
