Resolution No. 26-048
Recognizing the contributions and expressing appreciation to
Ken Kaiser, public service worker
Whereas, Kenneth Kaiser began his employment with the City of St. Louis Park on June
27, 2005, and served over 20 years as the public service worker in the parks and recreation
and facilities department; and
Whereas, Ken has been an essential component to the operation and maintenance of
city facilities for over 20 years; and
Whereas, Ken has taken part with the opening of an expanded and remodeled
Municipal Service Center, two new Fire Stations and a new Westwood Hills Nature Center; and
Whereas, Ken has showcased his talents at remodeling many offices and operational
spaces at City Hall, the Police Station and the Rec Center; and
Whereas, Ken has had an impact on thousands of city facility users over the past 20 plus
years, assuring their space is set up and accommodating according to their needs; and
Whereas, Ken will now be “working unpaid” on the numerous house and yard projects
that he describes as having been put off for many years; and
Whereas, Ken will enjoy the next chapter in his life with a little golfing, fishing and biking
- the pedal kind - along with general relaxation,
Now therefore be it resolved that the city council of the City of St. Louis Park,
Minnesota, by this resolution and public record, would like to thank Ken Kaiser for his great
contributions and his over 20 years of dedicated service to the City of St. Louis Park and wish
him the best in his retirement.
